TheRenzo Cortina Cultural Association in Milan will mount the exhibition “I am Nature” from Feb. 6 to March 3. Curated by Susanne Capolongo and Stefano Cortina, the exhibition is a reflection on nature through the sensitive eyes of artists, including Susy Manzo with her carved papers that recall natural elements in light and dreamlike forms, Federica Marangoni with her plaster and wax butterflies from the ’70s, a work that was used for the WWF poster; photographer Gianluca Balocco who narrates and reveals the value of biodiversity and life; and Andrea Forges Davanzati who, with his stainless steel sculptures, is oriented toward the study of natural marine forms and the movement inherent in them.
There will also be the hyper-realist large-field floral representations by Casagrande&Recalcati (Sandra and Roberto).
Art is a tool for knowing the world and expressing individual feelings, and it is, therefore, the socio-cultural responsibility of the artists present to tell, depict, explain and foreshadow what is coming.
The exhibition will be open daily, except Sunday and Monday, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
