The exhibition curated by Anna Orlando set up at the Palazzo della Meridiana in Genoa entitled"Van Dyck and His Friends. Flemings in Genoa 1600-1640" has been extended until Sunday, July 8, 2018.
On display are fifty works by Flemish artists who had relations with the city of Genoa in the early decades of the 17th century, including eight masterpieces by Anton Van Dyck (Antwerp, 1599 - London, 1641), who stayed in Genoa until 1627.
Of the latter, visitors can admire and understand his portrait art, mythological and sacred themes.
