“A harsh, contrasted, rough black and white,” explains curator Denis Curti, who selected the shots together with his wife Lou Embo. “A desire to tell the world through constant friction, without mediation and without lies. This is the photography of Fulvio Roiter. A particular way of looking at the world that inspired the work of the great Venetian author, until the end of his days, in a dynamic story line, full of nuances, surprises and twists, close to an intimate approach to photography.”
Promoted by Palazzo Ducale Fondazione per la Cultura and produced by Civita Mostre in collaboration with the Casa dei Tre Oci in Venice, the exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual Marsilio Editori catalog.
