Fourteen contemporary artists on display in Syracuse

On Saturday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m., in the presence of the director of the Syracuse Regional Pole for Cultural Sites, Lorenzo Guzzardi, the exhibition "Dialogica. atemporali.connessioni.contemporanee, " curated by Francesco Piazza, will be inaugurated at the Regional Gallery of Palazzo Bellomo. The event is included among those of the 13th Day of the Contemporary curated by Amaci (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums). The 14 artists participating in the project have created works of great emotional impact, designed specifically to be included in the gallery’s museum itinerary. The event aims to be a tribute to the vital relevance of ancient works of art and at the same time a dialogue with the masters of the past. Pictorial works, photographic projects and videos draw a parallel exhibition path to that of the Gallery, with forays into social and the closest current events. The artists in Dialogica are: Evita Andùiar, Romina Bassu, Giuseppe Bombaci, Davide Bramante, Riccardo Brugnone, Andrea Buglisi, Claudio Cavallaro, Simone Geraci, Francesco Lauretta, Ettore Pinelli, Giacomo Rizzo, Massimiliano Usai, Giovanni Viola and William Marc Zanghi. The exhibition will be open during the Museum’s opening hours (Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 15, Nov. 5 and 19 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 22 and 29, Nov. 12 and 26 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; last admission until half an hour before closing time).
