From March 4 to 14, 2019, the Casa del Cinema in Rome is hosting the exhibition Fellini. A Personal Look by Vittoriano Rastelli curated by Alessandra Zucconi and Andrea Mazzini.
Vittoriano Rastelli, a multifaceted photo-journalist, began his career as a photographer at a very young age. From ’51 to the ’60s he collaborated with various Italian newspapers and weekly magazines. In ’63 he began working with Life, Time Magazine and the New York Times and in ’74 with Epoca. He collaborates with AD and the Friday of the Republic and with many other important Italian and foreign newspapers. During his photojournalistic career, which took him all over the world, he also dealt with Italian cinema, which in the 1960s in Rome was in its heyday. The exhibition takes a confidential look at Federico Fellini ’s work through thirty black-and-white and color photographs taken by Rastelli.
