Exhibitions in Milan in 2018: a rich program for all tastes

Presented the program of Milan exhibitions to look forward to in 2018: there will be something for everyone in the new year!

At the Palazzo Reale from February 21 to June 24 will come Albrecht Dürer and the Renaissance between Germany and Italy, while from March 8, 2018 to September 2, 2018 from the Philadelphia Museum of Art will come works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee. At GAM, on the other hand, from March 16, 2018 to June 17, 2018, works by Giovanni Boldini will be on view, while at Mudec Paul Klee and his primitivism will arrive from September 26, 2018 to January 27, 2019.

Also at Mudec from February 1 through June 3, 2018, a major retrospective dedicated to Frida Kahlo will be awaited.

The Sforza Castle will host masterpieces by 20th-century masters such as Boccioni, Modigliani, Carrà, De Chirico, Pistoletto, and Fontana from March 23 to July 1, 2018.

And there is already talk of 2019, the year in which exhibitions will be scheduled to recall works by Ingres, Georges de La Tour, De Chirico, and De Pisis. Also planned will be the reopening of the Sala delle Asse inside the Castello Sforzesco, on the occasion of the celebration of the fifth centenary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci.
