TheEuropean Heritage Days are an event promoted by the Council of Europe and the Commission of Europe with the aim of fostering dialogue and exchange in the cultural sphere among European nations, whose first edition dates back to 1991.

In addition, on Saturday 23, state museums will observe an extended opening of as many as three hours during which visitors will be able to enter at the symbolic price of one euro (ordinary costs during the rest of the day).
