Stenico Castle will host Giorgio De Chirico's museum of oddities from August 4 to October 14, 2018.

The exhibition"The Museum of Giorgio De Chirico’s Strangenesses" focusing on the graphic art of the father of metaphysics will take place from Aug. 4 to Oct. 14, 2018, at Stenico Castle in Trentino, Italy.

Through 22 works from a private collection, visitors will learn about the artist’s inventions and oddities on a journey between enigma and dream: mysterious characters, enlarged objects in unnatural places and in desolate Italian squares.



On display are lithographs, etchings, engravings, including “Enigma of the Afternoon” , “The Mysterious Shore,” “ Zeus,” “The Monsters”, “The Clearing,” “The Invincible Chariot,” “Metaphysical Interior,” “The Archaeologists,” “The Fountain of Mystery.”
