From July 21 to August 17, 2018, Galleria Poggiali on Via Garibaldi in Pietrasanta welcomes Kouros, Fabio Viale’s new work: a white Carrara marble bust with tattoos depicting signs of Russian criminality. The bust appears in violent and powerful torsion and with considerable musculature.
The gallery space in theformer Luigi Tommasi Art Foundry, on the other hand, will host a series of specially made works: Torno Subito, the jutting steel mirror with half of a marble airplane applied, and Door Release, a reduced version of the monumental Constantine’s Finger also tattooed. Also on display are Skull, the skull with polystyrene effect, Yours Will Be Ours, a tattooed fist, and Souvenir Mona Lisa, Leonardo’s Mona Lisa with polystyrene effect.
