Coming soon to Bologna is City Booming: a city with over 7 million bricks

From Oct. 20 to Dec. 9, 2018, theformer church of San Mattia in Bologna will host City Booming: more than seven million bricks that bring to life a huge 60-square-meter diorama of the world’s largest city made with Legos.

A meticulously detailed environment for a lifelike reproduction of a city: present are stores, cinemas, art galleries, residential neighborhoods, offices, as well as more than 6,000 mini figures inhabiting City Booming’s buildings and carrying out daily activities.
Also included among the ordinary people are superheroes, cartoon characters and movie celebrities.

City Booming is conceived and produced by LAB Literally Addicted to Bricks and is organized by Giuliamaria and Gianmatteo Dotto; the Bologna version is the brainchild of LAB founder Wilmer Archiutti.

The official hashtag for the initiative is #cityboomingbologna.

Tickets: Full 8 euros, reduced 6 euros. Children’s ticket from 4 to 12 years of age 4 euros. Free for children under 4 years old.
