Aspreviously announced, the Museum of the City of Livorno will host a major retrospective exhibition dedicated to its most illustrious fellow-citizen, Amedeo Modigliani, from November 7, 2019 to February 16, 2020, on the occasion of the centenary of his death.
Modigliani and the Montparnasse Adventure - Masterpieces from the Netter and Alexandre Collections, this is the title of the exhibition, will present to the public 120 works from the so-called École de Paris, including 14 paintings and 12 drawings rarely shown to the public by Amedeo Modigliani.
The exhibition, organized by the City of Livorno in collaboration with the Restellini Institute in Paris, is curated by Marc Restellini; main partner the Livorno Foundation.
