The exhibition curated by Angela Sanna in collaboration with Roberta Cerini Baj presents to the public sculptures, collages, as well as his characteristic time machines, inventions that become vehicles of memory, made by Enrico Baj.
In particular, the exhibition will focus on four cycles of works completed between 1993 and 2003: the Masks, the Totems, the Guermantes and the Hydraulic Works.
The Guermantes are portraits inspired by the family in Recherche du temps perdu that denote the strong connection between the artist and literature, while the Hydraulic Works are sculptures consisting of pipes, faucets, siphons and trimmings.
