From Aug. 31 to Sept. 9, 2018, the solo exhibition of ceramic artist Clara Garesio will be held at Muky’s Rotonda Rossi in Faenza.

The exhibition, titled"Circle Time," is curated by Anty Pansera and is held in conjunction with Argillà Italia, International Ceramics Festival.
The exhibition will feature ceramic works, one-of-a-kind specimens that trace the phases of Clara Garesio’s artistic activity. The theme that unites the works together is circularity.

Curator Anty Pansera says, “It is reductive to call them ’plates,’ even though they may make one think of those triumphant Renaissance compositions that are naturally reproposed by her not only with a contemporary language but, also, to happily decline all her material skills. She thus combines there porcelain and terracotta; terracotta painted with enamel or engobe; terracotta with porcelain inserts; porcelain painted by third fire with gold...the bases in wood, plexiglass or steel...felicitous mixage, of forms, techniques, colors.”

The opening will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 6:30 pm.

Hours: Friday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. By appointment Monday through Thursday.
