From October 12 to December 2, 2018, an exhibition dedicated to Giacomo Balla entitled"Futurist Reconstruction of the Universe" will be held at Galleria Bottegantica in Milan.
Visitors will be able to admire thirty works by the artist, one of the most important exponents of Futurism: starting with some design works and a selection of paintings made between 1912 and 1930, including Portrait of Laura Marcucci at One Year, Dining Room, Compenetrazione foglie + cielo + luce, the sketch of Sorge l’idea, it will reach the section dedicated to applied arts with furniture complements, screens, drawings for design works.
The exhibition is curated by Fabio Benzi, a leading expert on Futurism and Giacomo Balla, and focuses on applied arts and furniture.
