Boldini's ladies in dialogue at Milan's GAM

The Milan Gallery of Modern Art will offer its visitors from March 16 to June 17, 2018 the exhibition"Boldini. Portrait of a Lady."

The exhibition will feature 30 works, including paintings, drawings and pastels from the Giovanni Boldini Museum in Ferrara, placed in dialogue with GAM ’s masterpieces by Boldini and Paul Helleu, a friend and also a protagonist of the Belle Époque in Paris.

The exhibition will highlight portraits of women of the aristocracy who led mundane lives: works dating back to the early 20th century.

The exhibition is curated by Barbara Guidi and is organized by GAM Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Milano in collaboration with the Giovanni Boldini Museum in Ferrara.
