At the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, from April 10 to May 11, 2025, the exhibition Colors for Peace is open to the public with free admission. Colors for Peace. Children’s Universe for a Better World, curated by the Colors for Peace Association and promoted by Assessorato alla Cultura di Roma Capitale and Azienda Speciale Palaexpo, produced by Azienda Speciale Palaexpo in collaboration with Colors for Peace Association.
From the heart of Italy to the world, Colors for Peace is an immersive experience that transforms children’s art into a powerful tool for hope and global connection. Through a journey intended to be immersive, the exhibition takes visitors on a collective journey, giving voice to the dreams and visions of children from more than 150 countries.
The works on display, selected from more than 200,000 submissions, compose a mosaic of dreams, aspirations and messages of peace, in which the spontaneity of the stroke combines with messages of deep reflection. Each drawing represents a fragment of a single choral narrative, an invitation to contemplate and share a vision of peace.
At the center of the exhibition, The World Map - made from recycled paper collected by children - becomes the tangible symbol of a creative union without borders, telling the cultural and environmental diversity of our planet with delicate power.
The experience is accompanied by the anthem Peace, Peace Colors for Peace, which brings together the voices of childhood in a song of unity and hope. A multimedia archive also allows visitors to explore Colors for Peace ’s journey through settings such as the Pantheon, the Capitol and the Colosseum, to the international reviews that have taken the project to three Olympics, two Expos and several global summits.
More than just an exhibition, Colors for Peace aims to be a living testimony to children’s ability to imagine and build a better world. A project that not only exhibits, but invites action, cultivating, with small universal gestures, the art of PEACE.
