A solo exhibition by Riccardo Guarneri (Florence, 1933), entitled La Poetica della luce (The Poetics of Light), curated by Enrico and Lorenzo Lombardi, will open in Rome on October 19 at Galleria Lombardi. The exhibition, which can be visited from October 19 to November 9, 2024 and is enriched by a catalog with a critical text by Alberto Dambruoso, will present about fifteen works created by the artist in the last ten years. A pioneer of Analytical Painting, Guarneri has developed throughout his career an extremely consistent painting, characterized by geometric references and permeated by lightness and lyricism, accentuated by the delicate tones of his palette. Light, form, sign and color are the essential elements of his work, and through a refined combination of these aspects, his paintings are born, ethereal and imbued with a subtle magic.
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibition is free admission.
