From September 20, 2019 to March 1, 2020, the rooms of Bologna ’s Palazzo Albergati will host more than 150 works by one of the most beloved artists of the 20th century: Marc Chagall (Lëzna, 1887 - Saint-Paul-de-Vence, 1985).
His masterpieces between fairy tale, poetry, religion and love and childhood memories will lead visitors into a dreamlike imaginary, on the border between dream and reality.
Chagall. Dream and Magic will trace Chagall’s artistic journey through his most celebrated masterpieces, including Le Coq Violet, a painting created between 1966 and 1972.

For preschool and elementary school, guided tours and workshops will be conducted. For primary and secondary school, guided tours will be conducted. Language, working methodology and content will be adapted according to the age of the recipients. By October 20, 2019 also special reductions are provided for groups visiting the exhibition.
