Siena’s Olmastroni Gallery in Palazzo Patrizi will host the exhibition Forma/ae - Siena Inside and Out by Sienese photographer Stefano Vigni from March 6 to 22, 2020.
Divided into two parts, the exhibition will present black and white shots depicting Siena and color shots and video installations for the Crete Senesi and Val d’Orcia. Images that thus represent the dualism between countryside and city, which is found in the two-volume book Forma/ae (Seipersei publisher): the shots in the exhibition are those used in the making of the latter.
The aim of the exhibition is to provide an unprecedented look at world-famous territories and buildings. The inside and outside the walls of Siena are for Vigni two equal but opposite halves, different but inseparable, as they belong together.
The exhibition is part of the seasons of art programmed by the City of Siena.
Hours: Daily from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Free admission.
