From July 11, 2019 to February 2, 2020, the exhibition Colori degli Etruschi opens in Rome. Terracotta Treasures at the Centrale Montemartini, a selection of figured wall slabs and molded architectural decorations in polychrome terracotta, from the area of Cerveteri (the ancient city of Caere) and partly unpublished.
These are archaeological finds of fundamental importance to the history of Etruscan painting, recently returned to Italy thanks to an operation to combat illegal trafficking in archaeological artifacts by theCarabinieri and the cultural diplomacy of Mibac.

The exhibition opens Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Mondays, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
