A solo exhibition of cartoonist Zerocalcare at MAXXI in Rome from November: the announcement was made yesterday.

Zerocalcare (pseudonym of Michele Rech, Arezzo, 1983), one of the most appreciated contemporary Italian cartoonists, will be the protagonist of a solo exhibition at MAXXI from next November 10. This is his first solo exhibition, it will be curated by Giulia Ferracci, realized in collaboration with Silvia Barbagallo, and will trace his entire career, linked to the underground scene and spokesman for the generation that grew up in the 1990s.

Original plates from his books, posters, illustrations, logos, record covers, labels and more will be on display. The announcement was made yesterday in Rome during a meeting curated by the cultural association Doppio Ristretto.
