A major retrospective dedicated to Elliott Erwitt in Forli.

From Sept. 23, 2017, to Jan. 7, 2018, the San Domenico Museums in Forli will host a major retrospective dedicated to renowned photographer Elliott Erwitt.

From Sept. 23, 2017 to Jan. 7, 2018, it will be possible to visit the first major retrospective exhibition dedicated to the famous photographer Elliott Erwitt to be held at the San Domenico Museums in Forli.

"Elliott Erwitt. Personae," the title of the exhibition, alludes to the photographer’s desire to show the concrete life of individuals and the theatrical aspect that characterizes his production, especially in the shots taken under the pseudonym André S. Solidor.
The images on display will be in black and white and in color: the former now becoming icons of photography, the latter almost entirely unpublished.

A beloved photographer and member of the Magnum agency since 1953, Erwitt depicts humanity with elegance, irony and sometimes comedy.

The exhibition will feature, among his other famous shots,"France.Provence.1955,""USA. California.1956" and"USA.New York.1999."
