From July 3 to July 30, the Pisacane Arte gallery in Milan is showcasing “Two Visions of Art.” It is a double solo show featuring Maria Alonso Paez and Victor Goikoetxea two Spanish artists who want to arouse feelings and emotions, but each in their own way: Paez paints abstract works canvases in which shapes and colors flood the canvas inspired by mythology; Goikoetxea is a figurative abstract painter and sculptor with Renaissance training.
Among Paez’s works are Chaos, Emotio, Vestigium, Insomnia, Papalotl, Altum, Natura and Omnia, while by Goikoetxea it is worth mentioning his most famous architectural work, the Miramar Tunnel, located in Spain in the city of San Sebastian, and the sculptures depicting the Caryatids, two of which are in Milan, made of heat-worked polyurethane.
The exhibition is produced in association with ARTE XXI. Hours: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free admission.
