World Poetry Day, the National Roman Museum celebrates it on Facebook

To celebrate World Poetry Day, on Saturday, March 21 at 12 noon, the National Roman Museum presented Rovine, a project by poet Gabriele Tinti, live on Facebook.

It is an audio poetic guide that narrates the masterpieces kept by the museum described by Tinti and narrated by actors Marton Csokas, Alessandro Haber and Kevin Spacey. This audio guide will be usable, via QRcode, for one month from the reopening of the museum.

The project is made possible thanks to the contribution of the Culture and Art Foundation, an instrumental entity of the Third Pillar-International Foundation chaired by Prof. Avv. Emmanuele Francesco Maria Emanuele, and has been realized in collaboration with Treccani - Encyclopedia of Science and Letters and Palazzo Naiadi.

The masterpieces that inspired Gabriele Tinti’s poems are: at Palazzo Altemps the Galata suicida, the Erinni, the Ermes Ludovisi and the Ares and at Palazzo Massimo the Pugile, the Sarcophagus Mattei, the Apollo del Tevere and Dionysus.
