The #FinestreInDiretta project begins on Monday, March 16. Our newspaper Finestre sull’Arte also joins the #iorestoacasa campaign and through live streaming on social media, made directly by people who work in museums, we will bring the best Italian museums to your home. Short insights of about 15 minutes on works, rooms, pieces that you find in the collections of Italy’s museums, to be seen today via social so that we can find out live when we can get out of our homes again. A showcase, then, in these days of emergency, with the hope of getting back to crowding the real museums as soon as possible!
At the moment there are about fifteen museums that have joined the project (and we thank them for their willingness), which will allow us to take a nice trip along the peninsula, from north to south. The live streams will be broadcast on the Finestre Sull’Arte Facebook page at https://facebook.com/finestresullarte (if you haven’t already done so, please like and join a community of over 300 thousand art lovers)! Below is the schedule for the first four dates (keep an eye on this page to find out the next ones!):
Monday, March 16, 11 a.m.: Museo Diocesano Tridentino (Trento)
Tuesday, March 17, 12 noon: National Archaeological Museum of Naples (Naples)
Wednesday, March 18, 5 p.m.: National Gallery of Umbria (Perugia)
Thursday, March 19, time to be determined: Bargello National Museum (Florence)
More updates and new dates soon. And remember the hashtag: #WindowsInDiretta!
