OnFriday, Feb. 23, the National Gallery of Umbria will host the event"The Gallery in chiaroscuro. Painting by the Caravaggesque painters in a new light" as part of the"M’illumino di Meno 2018 - Caterpillar Radio2" campaign aimed at raising awareness of energy conservation and conscious use of resources.
During two rounds of the visit (at 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.), visitors will walk through the halls of the National Gallery of Umbria withnight lighting and small manual flashlights that will be made available to participants.
The visit will end in the room dedicated to the Caravaggesque painters, highlighting the value of light in their works.
The second round of the visit is reserved for participants of the Piedibus of Well-Being Special M’illumino di Meno initiative.
Participation is free while places last and reservations are required at 07558668411 (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
