For the seventh consecutive year, Palazzo Grassi in Venice will host screenings of films presented at the 2019 edition of Lo schermo dell’arte Film Festival as well as theater performances and meetings.

It will inaugurate the series of events on March 5 with Chroma Keys, a foray inside cinema, into the wonder of fiction and its old stereoscopic “tricks” made by the Motus theater group. March 6 will feature screenings of the films America (2019) by Garrett Bradley and The Proposal (2018) by Jill Magid. March 7 will feature screenings of Jeremy Deller’s Putin’s Happy (2019), John O’Rourke ’s Olafur Eliasson: Miracles of Rare Device (2019), and Forensic Architecture ’s Triple-Chaser and Lawrence Abu Hamdan’s Walled Unwalled. On March 8, the last day of the festival, the films Beyond the Visible. Hilma af Klint (2019) by Halina Dyrschka and Ettore Spalletti (2019) by Alessandra Galletta.
