Venice, Art Night 2022: free admission to the interactive exhibition in the Procuratie Vecchie

A World of Potential, theinteractive permanent exhibition at the Procuratie Vecchie in St. Mark’s Square in Venice, is also participating inArt Night2022, the white night of culture conceived byCa’ Foscari University in collaboration with the City of Venice to be held on June 18.

During the art night, now in its 11th edition, the public will have free access until 10 p.m. to the exhibition in the spaces restored by David Chipperfield Architects, as well as to the Illy Café and the terraces exceptionally open to the public.

The interactive exhibition aims to lead to the discovery of one’s potential from values such as creativity, gratitude, curiosity, social intelligence, and teamwork. Curated by Orna Cohen, co-founder of Dialogue Social Enterprise (Dse) and implemented by Migliore+Servetto, the exhibition aims to offer visitors the chance to explore some of the strengths identified by American psychologists Martin Seligman and Christopher Peterson in the VIA (Value in Action) method and selected with the help of experts from the Mayerson Academy. In this experiential journey, visitors will indeed be invited to look within themselves to increase their self-awareness and perception of the world, learning to see the best in themselves and others.

Also part of the permanent exhibition is Chutzpah - A tent that is not a tent, animals that are not animals, an art project by Atelier dell’Errore (AdE) Big, which interprets the value of courage.

A World of Potential supports the activities of The Human Safety Net, a foundation of Assicurazioni Generali that helps people in vulnerable conditions reach their potential by improving their living conditions and those of the entire community. Half of the value of each ticket goes to one of the Foundation’s programs of the visitor’s choice.
