On the occasion of Valentine's Day, from February 14 to 18, some museums of the Emilia Romagna Museums Directorate will have free admission. Find out in the article which ones.

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, some museums of the Emilia Romagna Museums Directorate will have free admission. Below are the museum venues involved in the initiative, along with their free opening dates, hours and proposed activities.

Monday, February 14

National Archaeological Museum of Ferrara: from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Casa Romei Museum (FE): from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pomposa Abbey - Codigoro (FE): from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Torrechiara Castle - Langhirano (PR): from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be two free guided tours starting at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tours by Melusine Cultural Association in collaboration with the Community of Museums of Parma and province. Palazzo Milzetti - Faenza (RA): 1:30 to 6:30 pm. Free guided tour entitled “Gods and Heroes in Love” at 4 p.m. organized by the museum’s educational services. Free participation with reservations required. Info and reservations: Tel. 0546/26493

Palace of Theodoric (RA): from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Roman Villa of Russi (RA): from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

National Archaeological Museum in Sarsina (FC): from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 14 to 17

Mausoleum of Theodoric (RA): from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe (RA): from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Baptistery of the Arians (RA): from 9 a.m. to 12 noon

Feb. 15 to 18

National Museum of Ravenna: Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. On these days it will be possible for the public to see the Rondinelli Altarpiece inside the painting section of the museum.
