Turin, for the first time, the Reggia di Venaria hosts the New Year's Concert

For the first time, the Reggia di Venaria, the grandiose monumental complex on the outskirts of Turin, is hosting the New Year’s Concert. Inside the Chapel of St. Hubert, part of the grandiose complex of the Savoy mansion, the Eric Waddell and the Abundant Life Gospel Singers will perform, a lineup that brings together the best talents from Baltimore City, in the United States, capable of giving the audience an exceptional combination of voices and timbres with deep and powerful overtones. Under the direction of Eric Waddell, front-man and leader of the group, the choir has achieved a vocal level that brings to life the emotion of the most authentic gospel choirs. The concert covers a vast repertoire ranging from modern arrangements of contemporary gospel, including some of Master Waddell’s songs, to traditional themes in the versions most beloved by the general public.

The date is for Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 7:30 pm. Tickets, available at lavenaria.it, will also allow the public to visit, before the concert, the Reggia, the Gardens and the current exhibitions: John Constable. Landscapes of the Soul, the first monographic exhibition in Italy dedicated to the famous English artist, and PLAY. Videogames, Art and Beyond, an unprecedented exhibition showcasing video games as a tenth art form in dialogue with celebrated masterpieces of the past, in the Halls of the Arts, and Marinella Senatore’s installations along the tour route.
