The second edition of Sculptures in the Field opens Sept. 15, 2018

In Bassano in Teverina, at Casetta Lola, the second edition of Sculptures in the Field, a project that aims to take contemporary sculpture out of museums, biennials, and galleries and place it in almost natural contexts, will be inaugurated on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:30 a.m.

Conceived by artist Lucilla Catania in collaboration with art critics Alberto Dambruoso and Roberto Gramiccia and with the support of the Bassano Archaeological Group, Sculptures in the Field is a work in progress: each year three new artists exhibit their creations in the park.

This edition’s artists and works will be Tigre by Luigi Puxeddu, Flusso by Alberto Timossi and Umana Natura by Francesca Tulli.

Through the works, the participating artists recreate that cultural humus founded on participation and the free sharing and transmission of ideas.
