Stimulating the enjoyment of contemporary art in Rome through a thematic approach and linking museums, exhibitions, works and architecture to encourage a dynamic interpretation of the art of our time: these are the objectives of"Choose the Contemporary," a cultural project now in its second edition curated by"Untitled."
Guided tours for adults and students and animated tours for children with workshop activities organized by curators, art historians and museum educators.
This is the schedule:
Saturday, Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 16 at 0r 4 p.m. Guided tours for adults and children to the National Gallery permanent collection;
Saturday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. guided tour for adults and children to the exhibition"Home Beirut. Sounding the Neighbors" at MAXXI;
Sunday, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. guided tour for adults and children to the Chiostro del Bramante- Enjoy exhibition;
Saturday, Nov. 25 (to be confirmed) at 11 a.m. guided tour adults and children at Villa Farnesina, then walk to Volume! Foundation for the"Respiro" exhibition;
Saturday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. guided adult and children tour of the Cinecittà architectural complex and Cinecittà Studios sets.
Children’s tours are for children ages 5 to 10.
