In fact, the second phase of the restoration has begun thanks to funding (six million euros) from the Tim Foundation: lighting, fire, security and video surveillance systems will be built, as well as a 300-meter fence around the site that will illustrate through explanatory panels the history of Augustus and the funerary monument.
The exhibition route will also be enriched with 3-D images and multi-sensory systems, while at dusk new LED lighting will make the Mausoleum even more impressive.
