The first free dog sitting tour in front of Italy's major museums starts in Rome: 15 stops in 15 cities

Bauadvisor launches the first DOGS & MUSEUM ROAD SHOW: a 15-stop tour in 15 cities across Italy featuring free dog sitting in front of major museums.

The DOGS & MUSEUM ROAD SHOW, Italy’s first 4-legged Tour, an innovative project conceived and organized by BAUADVISOR that combines the love of art and the love of four-legged friends, kicked off in Rome on Sunday, January 12. What it’s all about. While the dog owners visit museums and exhibitions, a team of qualified dog sitters recognizable by their harnesses will take care of the dogs, taking them for a walk or relaxing in the nearby green areas. At the end of the tour, the dogs will be ready to greet their owners at the museum exit.

The tour will include 15 stops (one Sunday a month, from January 12 until spring 2026) in 15 cities across Italy in front of major museums. The dog sitting service will be free for that day (always by reservation through www.bauadvisor.it or via App).

The first stop took place in Rome in front of the entrances to the Ara Pacis Museum, MAXXI | Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo, Museo Nazionale Etrusco, and Castel Sant’Angelo; the second stop is scheduled in Venice on February 2 in front of Museo Correr, Ca’ Rezzonico | Museo del Settecento Veneziano, Ca’ Pesaro, home of the Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. On March 2, the DOGS & MUSEUM ROAD SHOW will stop in Bologna, in front of the Municipal Art Collections and the Museo Civico Archeologico. The tour will then continue in April in Turin, at the Royal Museums, and in May in Milan, in front of the Royal Palace, the Diocesan Museum and the Luigi Rovati Foundation. This will be followed by Mantua (Palazzo Ducale and Palazzo Te), Perugia (National Gallery of Art of theUmbria), Florence (Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Museo Ferragamo and Uffizi), Naples (Gallerie d’Italia and MANN - Museo Archeologico Nazionale), Ferrara (Palazzo dei Diamanti and Castello Estense), Genoa (Acquario, Palazzo Ducale, Museo Diocesano), Verona (Museo Archeologico Nazionale), Rovereto and Trento (Mart and MUSE), Piacenza (Musei Civici di Palazzo Farnese) and Parma (Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta).

The initiative is made possible thanks to the support of sponsors such as Editore Pizzardi - Amici Cucciolotti, Haqihana, Teknofarma, and Wahl.
