Streaming concerts from the Grand Gallery of the Palace of Venaria

On the occasion of Easter, on the morning of Sunday, April 12, a concert by theAccademia dello Spirito of Turin was held in the Great Gallery of the Reggia di Venaria with a performance of Francesco Saverio Giaj ’s Stabat mater for solos, choir, strings and continuo and Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria for soprano, alto, choir and orchestra RV 589.

The Easter Concert kicked off the cycle of four Concerts in the Great Gallery dedicated to music composed for the Savoy court: in fact, every Friday until May 1 there will be a concert, initially scheduled as part of the Baroque Evenings.

Following are the subsequent appointments:

Friday, April 17 at 5 p.m. Concert with Enseble l’Astrée
Friday, April 24 at 5 p.m. Concert with Architorti
Friday, May 1 at 5 p.m. Concert in collaboration with the Teatro Regio di Torino.
