After the successes of past years, the Journeys in Ancient Rome project returns from April 17 to November 3, 2019, which, through two multimedia shows, tells and brings to life the history of the Forum of Caesar and the Forum of Augustus. The two shows, which use cutting-edge technologies, see the conception and curation of Piero Angela and Paco Lanciano with the historic collaboration of Gaetano Capasso and with the Scientific Direction of the Capitoline Superintendence. They are promoted by Roma Capitale, Assessorato alla Crescita culturale - Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturalieproduced by Zètema Progetto Cultura.
Thanks to special audio systems with headphones and accompanied by the voice of Piero Angela and the vision of magnificent films and projections that reconstruct the two places as they were in ancient Rome, spectators will be able to enjoy an exciting and at the same time rich representation with great historical and scientific rigor.
The two shows can be heard in 8 languages (Italian, English, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese).
The modes of enjoyment of the two shows are different. For the Forum of Augustus there are three performances each evening (duration 40 minutes) while for the Forum of Caesar it can be accessed every 20 minutes according to the published schedule (itinerant route in four stages, for the total duration of about 50 minutes, including travel time).
