Picture books dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. 4 meetings at the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio

On Saturdays in November, at the Palazzo Vecchio Museum, 4 readings-workshops with picture books dedicated to Leonardo.

Readings-workshops aimed at familiarizing children with illustration are returning to the Palazzo Vecchio Museum in Florence, and this year, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the meetings will be dedicated to the Tuscan genius, thinker, artist and scientist. Leonardo has become the protagonist of books created by great illustrators and writers who lead young and old into his life and work.

Among them, Leo (Lapis editions, 2017), a book with texts by Luisa Mattia and Alberto Nucci Angeli, illustrated by Lorenzo Terranera. What kind of child was Leonardo? What was his life before he became the great artist and inventor we know? The brilliant Leo unravels the mystery related to his birth and narrates the wonderful adventure of knowledge. A book that combines the poetry of the childhood tale and the accuracy of historical reconstruction.
