Paratissima Art & Photo Fair lands in Milan

From June 6 to 10, 2018, Paratissima will arrive in Milan: the well-established Turin Art Fair, which last February brought its first edition to Bologna, lands in the Lombard capital.

The theme and title of the Milan edition is"Through the Black Mirror": selected artists and art galleries will interpret futuristic hallucinations suited to this theme.

The Ph.ocus section will be dedicated to photographic projects, while emerging talents will find space in BASE Milano, a project of innovation and cultural contamination between art, creativity, business, technology and welfare in Milan’s Tortona district. There will be numerous meetings, shows, workshops, laboratories and performances.

The special projects of this first Milanese edition are"Genesis in Space" and"Off the Corner": the former is a photographic project by Giovanni Gastel and Franco Curletto that combines hair style and fashion photography for an original gallery of portraits and hairstyles of alien creatures; the latter consists of live sessions, particularly sound installations and surprise appearances by Italian and international music artists.
