From June to November 2018, more than one hundred and fifty events and initiatives in the museums and cultural places of the Polo Museale del Lazio will be organized to unite art, architecture, music, theater, dance and audiovisual with Lazio’s art places, spreading awareness of them among citizens and tourists.

A rich program that constitutes the great project of ArtCity, implemented by the Polo Museale del Lazio, which includes forty-six museums and places of culture.

ArtCity consists of several sections:

The Museum as You’ve Never Seen It proposes to the public by day and by night secret itineraries in some of the most famous monuments of Rome and Lazio; Art and architecture are protagonists in the exhibitions Weapons and Power in Renaissance Europe set up at Palazzo Venezia and Castel Sant’Angelo and Eternal City in the photographic collection of the Royal Institute of British Architects at the Vittoriano.
Another section is dedicated to children that proposes knowledge of cultural heritage through the performing arts.
In addition, the performing arts, such as music, theater and dance, are the protagonists of the reviews The Rediscovered Garden at Palazzo Venezia, Sere d’Arte at Castel Sant’Angelo, Music at the Vittoriano, In musica, In scena and Luci su Fortuna in all forty-six art venues of the Polo Museale del Lazio.
