Milan's Museum of Science and Technology brings its collection to a Nintendo video game

In recent weeks the video game Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the latest title in Nintendo ’s life simulator series in which players can build and furnish houses in a village (or on an island, as is the case in this episode) populated by anthropomorphic animals, has been blowing up.

The Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology has decided to ride the wave of the game’s success with an initiative that will take place May 18-31, in time for International Museum Day celebrations. During this period, the museum will make available to players, via QR codes, some of the objects and works of art it holds for them to choose from in order to set up their own personal museum run by Blatero, one of the game’s characters. Among them we can find anAlfa Romeo Gran Premio 512, a Gr. 691-022 FS locomotive, the painting Invitation to Dance by Moses Bianchi, and virtually all of Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous inventions. On the museum’s website you will find the handy guide to participate in this fun stamp hunt.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch console.
