Miart 2021 will happen. New dates announced

Dates for Miart and Milan ArtWeek 2021 announced. Miart, Milan’s international modern and contemporary art fair, organized by Fiera Milano and the first under the artistic direction of Nicola Ricciardi, will be held from Friday, September 17 to Sunday, September 19, 2021 (with preview on September 16) at Fieramilanocity.

After the 2020 online edition, which kept gallery owners, collectors, art world professionals and the public in touch, Miart is then scheduled to take place between the Salone del Mobile, which will be held Sept. 5-10, and Milan Fashion Week, Sept. 21-27.

The new dates have been designed with the aim of not compromising the attractiveness of Miart, which has always stood out for its international vocation: the event will thus maintain this important peculiarity.

It will be a “physical” edition enriched and completed by a digital experience, thanks to an online platform capable of proposing innovative multimedia content and new ways of communicating, in order to further amplify the dialogue between modern and contemporary, one of Miart’s strong points. The goal is to create a fair that is a solid and credible opportunity for revitalization.

As usual, Miart will be the fulcrum of Milano ArtWeek, for which a rich calendar of events and openings is planned, promoted with the City of Milano Cultura, which brings together the city’s major public institutions and private foundations.
