In Mudec's warehouses to discover pottery from around the world

OnSaturday, October 26, 2019, Mudec is organizing a special initiative thanks to which visitors will be able to discover the treasures kept in the museum’s storerooms. Volunteers from the Italian Touring Club will accompany the public on theexclusive thematic tour The Secrets of Conservation, entirely dedicated to pottery: bowls, plates, vases and cups from all over the world will be on display.

The works preserved in the museum’s storerooms come from all over the world, from West and Central Africa to the Middle and Far East, via South and Central America to Southeast Asia and Oceania. Over 9,000 artifacts and works make Mudec’s collection rich in valuable multicultural evidence, so vast that it cannot be fully appreciated in museum rooms alone.

Admission is free with reservations required.
