Great Art at the Movies begins again!
From September 25-27, the first British documentary dedicated to the famous Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai will be shown in Italian cinemas.
The event film"Hokusai from the British Museum" will introduce viewers to the artist’s life and works with the help of passionate scholars and artists influenced by his art, such as David Hockney and Japanese painter Ideguchi Yuki.
It will also show the major exhibition that was dedicated to the artist in the halls of the British Museum until August 13.
The documentary was filmed in Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom and will be released in cinemas around the world; it is co-produced with NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) and is distributed in Italy exclusively by Nexo Digital in collaboration with MYmovies.it.
