Guided night tours of the Baths of Caracalla are scheduled every Tuesday and Friday from August 21 to October 2, 2018.

Starting Tuesday, August 21 until October 2, 2018, guided tours are scheduled to walk through and admire the Baths of Caracalla at night.

"Caracalla night" in fact offers every Tuesday and Friday an evocative itinerary, accompanied by specialized staff, to let visitors discover one of the largest and best-preserved thermal complexes of antiquity.
The route will unfold from the Western Gymnasium, the Locker Room, the Pool, the Frigidarium and the Calidarium to reach the Underground and the Mithraeum, considered the largest in Rome.



Along the route are installations by sculptor Mauro Staccioli, which belong to the exhibition"Sensible Environment" and create a dialogue with the ancient architecture of the Baths.

Guided tours are available in Italian and English: the former at 7:45 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:05 p.m., the latter at 8:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Guided tours are mandatory for participation. Reservations are required and free of charge while places are available at +39 06 399 67 700.

Tickets: Full 18 euros, reduced 16 euros for children aged 6 to 12. Free for children under 6 years old.
