Genoa, Palazzo Bianco warehouses open extraordinarily to the public

The Strada Nuova Museums in Genoa open extraordinarily to the public every Tuesday in June at 4 p.m. the storage spaces of Palazzo Bianco.

It will therefore be possible to admire on this occasion more than two hundred paintings, arranged in eighteen rooms. These include works of great quality and interest that, due to exhibition requirements, have not found a place in the two floors below that constitute the permanent exhibition route. Particular prominence is given to the works of the Genoese masters; this is followed by the Italian painters and the section devoted to the Flemish, Dutch, and French. The paintings are presented with the same criterion used in the Gallery, with a denser arrangement, which also makes use of bulkheads in the center of the rooms to which works are attached to increase the available space.

After the in-depth exploration in the deposits, it is possible to continue the visit to the museum.
