Galleries of the Florence Biennale Internazionale dell'Antiquariato announced

The galleries participating in the 33rd Florence Biennale Internazionale dell'Antiquariato, scheduled to be held at Palazzo Corsini from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6, have been announced. 80 galleries, including 14 newcomers. Here are which ones.

The Florence Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato announced this morning the galleries that will participate in the 33rd edition of the great antique art fair, scheduled at Palazzo Corsini in Florence from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6, with press preview and collectors by invitation on Sept. 26.

Secretary General Fabrizio Moretti and the steering committee have assembled a list of 80 major international galleries, including reconfirmations and 14 newcomers, mostly from abroad, selected to compose a high-level picture that is able to offer the public and collectors a broad and heterogeneous exhibition: focus not only on antiquity, but also on modern and contemporary up to the late 1990s. In all, this year’s BIAF will have 13 foreign galleries, as well as several antiquarians with dual headquarters in Italy and abroad. “The list of galleries speaks for itself,” says Fabrizio Moretti, “it is a roundup of international outliers that concretely hints at a memorable edition. Each exhibitor is the expert in their field to have them all gathered under one roof at Palazzo Corsini is an opportunity not to be missed for Italian and international collectors.”
