Until January 9, 2022, the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan hosts AURA, the immersive art experience born from the collaboration between Pepper’s Ghost and Sila Sveta. The absolute protagonists are color and light. The viewer becomes an actor in a creative show in which each person’s aura interacts with that of those close to him or her, catalyzing new energy fields and emitting new luminosity. Through sophisticated technologies, the Eastern concept of the aura surrounding all bodies is made perceptible to all.

The project was born from Pepper’s Ghost’s idea to materialize and touch light as a living resource and source of life, bringing into play visionary creativity, experience design and the most innovative technologies to tell multiple stories, made of sounds, senses and emotions. The idea is to create a digital artwork that transforms the environment by making it alive, where the power of the play of light beams meets mapping projections, capable of immersing visitors in 3D animations and images. The latter are thus an integral and active part of the work. Actors involved in a journey in two acts.

The first is divided into five loops that gradually immerse in evocative and generative moments such as a shower of stars or the growth of natural elements, in which people’s presence and movements directly interact by modifying their patterns and developments. Each time a new and original creative act is constituted, the result of the relationship between human and digital. In the second act, the idea of a personal aura expands further, increasing the level of interaction with the surrounding world.

It is a unique installation that starts from darkness, from a black box, to the encounter of colors and music.

Each visitor will create his or her own story between lights, projections and space, emotions, surprises and upheavals. Collaborating to transform light into an immersive artistic experience are the world’s leading light designers, creative directors, composers and sound designers, under the artistic direction of Pepper’s Ghost and Sila Sveta founders Anderson Tegon and Aleksandr Usyskin.
