Copenhagen: the sixth edition of Char Art Fair arrives

From August 31 to September 2, Chart Art Fair 2018, Denmark’s contemporary art, design and architecture fair, returns to Copenhagen.
Now in its sixth year, the fair will present works, many of them created especially for the event, by emerging and established artists, local and internationally recognized artists, all offered by leading Nordic galleries.

The fair is divided into the following sections: CHART Emerging, which features the works of emerging artists and is curated by Helga Christoffersen (Associate Curator at the New Museum, New York); CHART Architecture, which aims to promote young Nordic architects; and CHART Curio, a thematic exhibition entitled “Trans Act!” In addition, there will be the new CHART DESIGN section, dedicated to Collectible Design at the Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art and enhanced by a program of talks and performances.

The fair will showcase installations by exhibitors from Denmark (such as Andersen ’s and Galleri Bo Bjerggaard), Sweden(Galleri Andersson/Sandström and Andréhn- Schiptjenko), Iceland(BERG Contemporary), Norway(Galleri Brandstrup and Golsa) and Berlin(Gallery Taik Persons).
