Coming to Forlì the first edition of Muralì Street Art Festival

Forlì will be the scene of the first edition of the Muralì Street Art Festival from May 11 to 20, 2018: meetings, workshops and a public call for entries.

From May 11 to 20, 2018, the first edition of Muralì Street Art Festival will arrive in Forlì.

During these days, the works already present on the walls of the city of Forlì, such as the mural by Gomez, will be placed in dialogue with the works created by Muralì artists such as Millo, Eron, Camilla Falsini and Zed1, artists who are appreciated nationally and internationally.

The theme of the event will be the Italian Constitution with its fundamental principles.

The initiative was created with the intention of making writers participate through a wide program of events leading to an in-depth study of street art: meetings with professionals, aperitifs with artists and workshops.

In addition, a public call will be launched for emerging artists in order to decorate the interior of the Barcaccia underground parking lot. The call for entries is made in collaboration with the “Romagna in Fiore” writers’ association, which was founded in Forlì ten years ago and is the protagonist of interventions throughout the region.

The artistic direction of Muralì Street Art Festival is by Marco Miccoli, an expert in the field.

This event is also the first patronage operation in the area, as the interventions are co-financed by local companies that will adopt the artists’ works for the recovery and enhancement of the city’s historic center.
