CAMERA of Turin celebrates its first five years with a packed program of events


In October CAMERA - Italian Center for Photography celebrates its first five years. Five days of events in a rich program.

CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia will celebrate its first five years of activity in October and for the occasion will offer in five days, from September 30 to October 4, 2020, a rich program of events with openings, screenings, meetings, readings, guided tours.

It will start on Wednesday, September 30 with the opening of the exhibition in the Project Room dedicated to the master of photography Gianni Berengo Gardin in collaboration with the Associazione Archivio Storico Olivetti; then on October 1 there will be a large participatory event spread throughout the city, entitled Esterno Notte, where a thousand and one projections of photos and videos will bring buildings, houses and courtyards to life. On Friday, Oct. 2, on the other hand, a meeting will be held between protagonists of criticism and communication to take stock of photography today, with a look at the young talents of the European Futures program. The following day will host a session of portfolio readings curated by FIAF, while Sunday, Oct. 4, will close with a full day of guided tours dedicated to the major exhibition Paolo Ventura. Participation in the events is free of charge.
